Boudha Farmers Market has been started since 2016 in Utpala Cafe of Boudha. As organic food are high in demand of organic products in Nepal we understood that we need a local marketplace where the farmers can directly market their production as a physical retail marketplace intended to sell foods directly by farmers to consumers. Boudha Farmers’ markets is outdoors and typically consist of booths, tables or stands where farmers sell their product and prepared foods and beverages. We have around 100 local farmers, craftman, artist and fresh food vendors coming every saturay to sale there prouct .
Farmers’ markets can offer farmers increased profit over selling to wholesalers, food processors, or large grocery firms.
