World Neighbors (WN) has been working in Nepal since 1973 and we currently have programs in the districts of Sindhupalchok, Sindhuli and Udaypur, covering 75 rural communities. The programs in Nepal focus on the development of savings and credit groups as entry points for broader community development processes. These groups are also used to build trust and strengthen social networks amongst World Neighbors and the community. After the successful creation of savings and credit groups, WN works to build the capacity of local organizations and marginalized populations.
