Nepal Health Trust, registered in the Government of Nepal, is born with a vision of reaching those in need of medical emergencies by means of ambulances, blood donations, and volunteers to ensure their health, safety and recovery. Nepal’s rugged mountainous terrains have isolated millions of people from urgent health services due to the lack of access to motorable roads resulting in many premature and untimely deaths. News such as “Pregnant women die daily in Nepal”, and “Deaths due to lack of ambulances in villages” are some of the most shocking news that appear every now and then in the national newspapers demanding immediate actions on a war-footing but unfortunately, what we have witnessed is sheer apathy.
