Foreign students can get enrolled into IITs through JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is conducted for admission into various undergraduate programs across 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Seats allotted to foreign nationals are extra seats, with a cap of 10% of the total number of seats in every course. The foreign national candidates are not required to write JEE Main and can register for JEE Advanced directly subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria.
The NITs admissions for the academic year 2021-22 onwards under the DASA & SII scheme shall be on the basis of the ranks obtained by the students in JEE(Main)
