Taruka Bull-Fight Ground is a place possessing historical importance.
In late 1887 BS, King of Bajhang kingdom, ‘Jaya Prithvi Bahadur Singh’ visited his maternal land (Nuwakot Kingdom) then his maternal uncle decided to entertain his nephew with the thrilling bull fight. Through that tradition this ground is well known ground for Bull-Fighting of the bulls recommended by local farmers and local government.
This place is well known due to the bull fighting in a special occasion during the 1st of Magh month of nepali calenders (Approx- Jan 15) which day is also known as Makar-Sakranti or Maghe-Sakranti.
You can visit this place especially during the occasion of Maghe-Sakranti which is among the special festival of Nepali’s.
