Satyanarayan secondary school is one of the oldest historical institutions. Currently, this school runs classes from Six to Twelve.
The school runs classes in Nepali medium from 2009, in English medium from 2072, and Electrical Engineering from class 9 to 12 under Technical and Vocational Stream. The total number of students is approximately 1980 i.e. 400 students in Nepali medium, 900 in English medium and 600 in grade 11 and 12.
