Laxmi Pratisthan established a branch of Kumar Balram Memorial Hostel in Kavre district with the facility of a high school nearby. In the Kavre branch, 60 children are getting education along with their basic needs such as nutritious food, clean water, clothes, accommodation, sanitary facility with other recreational activities as well. The children go to Shree Saraswoti Secondary School nearby the hostel.
The majority of these children hail from the marginalized and nomadic “Chepang” community in the Kanda.
